More units for the TOEG 2012 project.
“Do not ask which creature screams in the night. Do not question who waits for you in the shadow. It is my cry that wakes you in the night, and my body that crouches in the shadow. I am Tzeentch and you are the puppet that dances to my tune...” - The Book of Tzeentch

1 Thousand son retinue - rubric marines (see below)
The Rubric of Ahriman was the name given to an immensely powerful ritual spell cast by a cabal of sorcerers from amongst the Thousand Sons Traitor Legion who were led by the Chaos Sorcerer Ahriman not long after the Legion fled from their homeworld of Prospero to the Planet of the Sorcerers during the Horus Heresy. The spell transformed the vast majority of the Chaos Space Marines of the Legion into mindless, undead spectres whose souls are trapped within their ancient suits of Power Armour.

TOEG 2012 - May progress
This months offering icludes a chaos defiler, 4 stands of lesser demons ad a squad of disk riders.
Chaos Defiler
A Defiler is a potent Daemon Engine mounted on 6 piston-driven limbs that serves in the armies of the Chaos Space Marines. The Defilers were created after the Horus Heresy on the orders of Abaddon the Despoiler to supplement the forces of the Traitor Legions, whose remaining Chaos Dreadnoughts were no longer the reliable heavy support units they had once been before their transformation into the insane cybernetic servants of the Ruinous Powers.
The origins of the Chaotic war machines called Defilers are shrouded in mystery. No one truly knows how they came into existence, but there are tantalising clues and forgotten fragments of ancient texts of Chaotic history that indicate how such abominations came into being in the material realm. Standing on six powerfu, piston-driven limbs, the Defiler's body supports a daemonic turret armed with an array of deadly weaponry, ranging from Reaper Autocannons to racks of high explosive missiles. A Defiler's most potent ranged armament is a Battle Cannon mounted in the turret, which is capable of blowing apart vehicles and destroying enemy squads with a single blast. Those enemies fortunate enough to survive this barrage of shells must face the fury of the Defiler at close quarters. With two massive claws to grab and crush the enemy and whirring blades or whip-like flails to rip them to bloody shreds, the Defiler charges into the enemy's lines and smashes aside all opposition to the Dark Gods as its mechanical growls echo over the dying and wounded.

Small Update to the growing band. 4 chaos predators and a warp palace scratch build.
Tzeentch Warp Palace
The dreaded Warp Palaces of Tzeentch resemble huge baroque fortresses or bastions mounted upon a colossal hovering disk. Fluctuating sparks of Warp energy flare out from the turrets and crenellations and the air crackles with the aura of magical energy. In this manner it resembles the more commomly encountered Silver Towers of Tzeentch, but does, in fact, dwarf even these feared engines of Chaos.
The Warp Palaces are constructed in a manner far beyond the comprehension of even the most learned of the Adeptus Mechanicus Tech-Priests. These floating monstrosities are known to appear above the battlefields of the 41st millennium drawing upon a raw power that is unimaginable to other machines and daemon engines.
Occasionlly the Warp Palace will sit motionless in the midst of its enemies, strafing ground targets with its various destructive forms of attack. At other times it will simply disappear with a sonic boom and a cascade of lightning bolts only to reappear again at the opposite flank of the battlefield in the blink of an eye. However, the Warp Palace is not just a nightmare union of metal and ferocious firepower. At the core of each Warp Palace lies the essence of a Changer of Ways - a Greater Daemon of Tzeentch.
